New owners, new manager. Anything else is rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic

Ward Prowse looks like it's happening, 40 million

Barnes has to be no 1 target now. If we have Europa league we can beat Villa to him.

Barnes and Dewsbury-Hall I would look at. Possibly Castagne at RB too

Leeds I don't think there are many that attract, possibly Harrison.... there are rumours he has a release clause. He is pacy, not mid pace as described on here.

From Soton Lavia meant to be superb but is very small, Bella-Kotchup looks worth a look for CB cover and possibly Walker-Peters. I think their new signing Alcarez looks a players, not sure he would leave so soon though. If he stays he will carve up the Championship.

With Rice now talking to other clubs, should he not be doing that after the final? then we need to replace him as well as upgrade Benny on the left (if only he scored more), keep him in squad though.

If we could bring in Harvey Barnes, JWP and Kalvin Phillips in on the Rice money, the great.

Re: Where should we strengthen in the summer window and with who?
Villa not a great move for Barnes, imo, think he can do better than that. Was never going to end up here though even though some these days take a bit of gossip as fact almost, the silly sod Gonzo dedicated a whole video to it.

Re: Where should we strengthen in the summer window and with who?
Can’t see Barnes going spurs. He operates from wide left which is essentially Son’s best position so it’d be a bad career move I think. Can see him at Villa all day long though, even logistically it’d make more sense for him.

Harvey Barnes going to Villa, apparently.

They're higher than us in the food chain now, as they acted and pumped their under performing manager.

David Weir, getting dof right has to be too priority this summer. He played for Everton under DM who made him their Captain so their relationship should be good.

Agree about Barnes.

If we had been top7 again then maybe

That Swedish Coventry striker.
Wouldn't be against Inaechho.
Balugan from Arsenal.

Sadly, I don't think we're a big enough pull for Barnes, I can see the likes of Newcastle and Spurs in for him, maybe even Arsenal. Could be wrong though.

Re: Where should we strengthen in the summer window and with who?
Yeah agree I wouldn’t sign them all, Barnes would be my pick also cos he slots straight into our side, I mean the pick of the Leicester players would be Maddison for me but we have no chance there.

Massive rebuild required for a new progressive manager due to being one of the oldest squads

Not bad players, but apart from Barnes I think we should bee setting our targets higher than Leicester's cast off's. It's lazy scouting too.

Seems Kamada from Frankfurt is going to AC Milan on a free.

Re: Where should we strengthen in the summer window and with who?
I'm a little bit baffled so many of our fans want Harrison, not saying he's not a good player, but is it not blindingly obvious the lack of real pace in our team has been our biggest problem this season? We're the slowest team in the Prem, signing another winger who is not that quick would be madness.

Bit like signing Paqueta & Scamacca, absolute madness when you're go to set up is Moyesball.

Maybe someone can turn Barnes into a striker? If Rice is off we certainly need two central midfielders.

Stowie.40 12:24 Mon May 29
Re: Where should we strengthen in the summer window and with who?
Leicester have a few I’d take. Barnes, Dewsbury Hall, Ihenacho, Ricardo, Castanage. Harrison would be a good buy for our left side. See us needing 6 at least, Keeper, Centre Back, 2 Full Backs, Winger & Centre Forward.

Far Cough 12:15 Mon May 29

Wouldn't mind Ihenacho from them, got to be an upgrade on Ings?

Re: Where should we strengthen in the summer window and with who?
Was listening to the football finance guy Kieran Maguire on Sky and he reckons Leicester borrowed against the future amounts they are due on previous player sales so will be using their parachute payments to repay that.
Tielemans is out of contract and obviously Maddison and Barnes wont be sticking around.
Expect they will have to shift any other players in demand .... Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall and a few others
